ok i have decided. when i become old i am going to be a super compliant and obedient old woman. so my children wun hate me and not want to care about me. just went for lydia's cofm patient home visit and that is what i gathered. the visit kinda left me in a depressed mood cos i realised we cant do anything much to help solve the problem the family had. hai this really makes me realise our inadequacies and how many things are out of ur control even though u really wan to help.
well at least the week is drawing to an end! one day of public hol to look forward to next week! =)) this is the first week of my following of dr srid. i have heard so many horror stories about him dat by the time monday came, i have already braced myself to endure hell. haha. apparently he expects his students to know all the patients and also clerk all the new cases. i ended up wasting time copying stuff from the case files. really dunno where is the learning point. hai. but so far he has been pretty nice (at least not nasty) to me. i really really hope it continues. gosh
hc130 met up for one last meetup before ys leaves for london. venue was of cos MISS CLARITY! haha~ we really shared so much fun and memories at that place leh. the food was as nice as ever and mudooze was just heavenly. we played a time capsule kinda thing there. it was suan's suggestion. so we all wrote notes about the other 3 pple, like how the person will be like in 5 years' time. haha. it was pretty fun. suan is supposed to keep all the notes. den we will all read on 20th sep 2013.
after that we went to national library to play our fav 'superman' game in the glass elevator. haha~ this time we nv stretch out our arms too high cos we are old.
after that we went to take neoprints! haha we were like 10 years older den everyone else in the neoprint shop. i doubt i will ever take another neoprint again except with hc130. hahaha~~
went to t3 on sunday nite to send off ys! we bought a milo package for him as farewell gift. haha~ i was really sad to see him go! really feel v bu4 she3 de2 when he went through the glass door. it will be soooo long till the next time we meetup again!

ahh its 3 weeks into the medicine posting at cgh and i feel as if i havent learnt anything! tink the only thing i perfected these few weeks is to draw curtains. my most important job during ward rounds is to draw curtains while the doctors are examining the patients. haha~~ and i am too lazy to stay back to clerk patients. i tink i clerk the least compared to everyone in my cg. oh no oh no.
but at least patho Ca is over! though i tink i sure fail. need some divine intervention to pass. i realised skimming through the notes is not enough to pass. cant rem lotsa stuff during the mcq. prac was even worse. i totally had NO IDEA what the first picture was. i wrote that it was a bone in the end cos i din wanna just leave the question blank and stone for 8 mins. haha it turned out that it was the aorta. good job swim.
we had some relaxation time after patho! good food @wheelock place den kbox! as we were walking down orchard road from wheelock to cine we were wondering when will be the next time we can be so carefree. sads.
yisheng's bday last thurs! bowwow and i went down to his house from cgh and were the 2 earliest to arrive after damian! now hc130 are all officially 21! haha hc130 didnt have time to meet up before that to make yisheng's photo board (our unique, one-and-only 21st bday presents for each other!), so suan, ger and i had to hide in ys's room to chiong to make his present. v funny cos we had to ban him from entering his own room and we used his scissors, glue etc to make HIS PRESENT. hehe. but we were all v pro by now since its our 4th board. finished v quickly and it was v chio! haha~~ ys is leaving for london soon so hc130 will be seperated for a longlong time.. ahh i feel sad just thinking abt it!
