today is the first time in abt a month when i woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window, and not to the irritating chime of my handphone alarm. feel sooo refreshed and relaxed! abit not used to the feeling of having loads of time to spare and nothing to do though. haha. i m going to play play and play! hopefully i dun get any viva calls and i shall pray hard tt i dun get any subs as well. really worried. i feel v unconfident abt all my papers, even the mcq ones. got alot of unsure questions and i dun dare to compare my ans with pple(will spoil my hol mood). haha. so i m praying all the ques i tikamed are correct. haha. oh wells.
anw, cant believe that my first academic yr in uni is over soo fast! (erms, hopefully over) it seemed like just yesterday when i got a call from med fac to ask me if i would like to transfer course over to medicine. really soo vivid. then i blinked and here i m, at the end of yr one. haha bowwow was saying if we blink 5 more times den we will be graduating le. haha i cant imagine. feeling of eventually graduating, starting on housemanship, start of my career and life outside school. sounds exciting yet scary. haha i m so used to having to go to school and having sth to mug for all the time. haha sounds nerdy i know but its true.
tink the one yr in medicine had been really fast cos it was fun. haha. time passes quickly when u are having fun. since our days are short, got lotsa time to play ma. haha. the most tiring was the one month before the pros ba. though i wun say i mugged v hard but at least i feel guilty when i play. haha.
oh speakin of playing, bowwow and i were really gungho and we went night cycling with the s71 guys abt 2 weeks before pros. haha. anthon was the organiser! hehe. just 5 of us went, anthon, yisheng, kiwi, bowwow and i. heh it was really fun but tiring. my butt hurt for 2 days after the cycling trip.
we cycled from ecp to clarke quay to meet damian and ger at Brewerks for dinner, den to lao pa sat for satay and yisheng's pig brain soup, den to maxwell road hawker centre, den to Swenson's in town, den to the You Tiao Da Wang in geylang for breakfast and den finally back to ecp.

dinner at brewerks. heh damian and ger had to wait v long for us due to our mishaps with bikes plus we ran into a a waterlogged dead end at ecp. haha.
satays and pig's brain soup at lao pa sat! and i finally got to drink the teh tarik tt bowwow kept recommending me to. by this time our butts were all suffering.
haha we had a mini 'lao yu sheng' at maxwell road food centre. fun!
at Swenson's in town. we shared apple crumble and a sundae. heh spent our time there reminiscing JC days and talking abt crazy stuff cos all of us were semi high at 3 am in the morning. talked abt our 71 volleyball days, teachers, complained abt 5.20 days. haha yisheng brought up how the both of us were super sad during bio pracs, cos we were always stuck on the side bench. always spent our bio pracs looking out to the house outside the window. we perpetually witnessed the process of the swimming pool being built there. haha.
resting pit stop at this ulu overhead bridge along Nicoll highway. my legs were dying on me. not helped by the fact tt i din know how to adjust the gears on my bike so i was even struggling to get my bike moving. gosh. we just sehed on the stairs.saw used stringes on the stairs. aiyo. wonder wat pple do here.
last stop at geylang's famous 24 hr you tiao da wang! haha i love the oyster mee sua there. by this time all of us were super sleepy. we even dozed off for awhile there. haha it was abt 6 plus in the morning and the pple in the shop were giving us weird looks. how cum this bunch of youngsters come here to sleep early in the morning? haha
back at ecp waiting for the bike shop to open. haha i almost ran over a cat there. too sleepy.. ecp in the morning is so diff from at night. everything smells so fresh and there are birds chirping everywhere. makes me feel refreshed and happy. =))
heh this has been a rather long entry. gotta go now to draw up a plan for the long long hols. hopefully the japan trip materialises. i might be leaving for taiwan too! heh. feel like working/learning sth in this time. ahh so much to look forward to i really really hope tt i dun dio subs!! i dun wanna study my hols away!
