7 weeks of clinical skills foundation course just blew past just like that! although i must say that we had a relatively slacker timetable at NUH compared to those at TTSH, i still felt like i learned more in these 7 weeks compared to my first 2 years in medicine. tink bedside tutorials, the experience of actually talking to and examining the patients gave me a much better 'feel' of wat being a doctor is like. although it also made us see how stupid and lacking in skills we are.
haha i still rem how enthu we were during the first week of csfc, even staying back in the wards after tutorials to clerk patients and take histories. haha~ it was then when we had this damn funny experience: a few of us were reading through the case file of a patient when we realised that under the column of drug allergies there was something listed as ' NKDA'. so the few of us tried to figure out what drug it stands for. somebody even said he was positive that its some diabetic drug, and all of us said we would go back to check our pharmaco textbooks. haha. of course there was no such drug and NKDA actually means 'no known drug allergies'. hahaha~~ tink its one of the stupid things u make as a dumbass medical student, things that we will laugh about in the years to come after we become fully-fledged doctors.

but tink generally the course was enriching la. we had v nice tutors! also learnt alot from talking to patients. not necessarily medically related stuff, but also heard their life stories and experiences.

ahh just 3 weeks to rot before school starts again!
