surprised i din sleep till noon or sth after the vbash @ st james power station with 04s71. tink i am too excited cos i m going out to get a new phone later! yay. anw, gilyn cheah, being one of the NUS's student union's PRU pple, had asked the 04s71 pple to go for the bash. so since i had nothing better to do, decided to go. heh.. 8 of us went, me, jj, ger, damian, anthon, mao, kiwi and well, gilyn.
hmm the pple were were a mixture of nus and non-nus pple la. saw shiyang there. and ger met her hwachong CO frens. saw preaw and kim mei also! heh kinda surprised they club actually. anw, the powerhouse outlet was rather sian. and i din really like the techno music dere. =(( anw, we decided to go to other outlets but unfortunately our guys are too ginna-looking. haha got ID-checked. heh.
hai i got my foundation in research skills homework to do. sian. how am i going to find out about the effects of mineral water on male fertility when there is like no link bt the two? arggh. feel like ponning sch tmr.

haha 583 is a number i randomly came up with. tink the number of times i promised myself to start on jian fei plans should be around this number le ba. and I NEVER SUCCEEDED. hopefully this time i will surpass myself.
cos it has come to the time when jian fei is no longer a want, but a NEED. i need to go on a diet!!
i shall thus try to keep to the following plan as much as possible:
1) cut down on 'good food' sessions with bowwow
2) max 2 cokes per week
3) jog/go on my exercise bike every evening
4) no suppers
5) no junk food

my anat group went out together after prac on fri.. been so long since the last time i did anat prac with my anat group, cos i have been crashing the 1st slot for all the past anat pracs. heh. not bad. first time in ages i actually stayed past one hour for anat prac too. haha doing prac with limin and co makes me more hardworking=))
anw, after anat we went off to kopitiam at ps for lunch, before heading to the mind cafe opp paradis centre. heh we played many games, like 'dog and bone', some charades game, one strategy game, and the most fun of all--i m the boss. haha~ i love tt game! we had v little time left to play the game since our booking time was only until 6pm. so we had to rush through the game. haha it was super hectic and all of us were just shouting at the same time to close off our 'transactions'. haha. i finished as the poorest player of all. thank god i m not going to be in stock exchange line..

after tt limin and i went off to hwa chong for o1 2007!! heh ian tatt and lui lim came along to see how its like. we had quite alot of fun toking on the way there. sad thing is tt the campfire had to be held in the sch hall due to the rain... this yr's theme is 'Turbo Charged'.
had fun dancing and singing with the councillors during the song and dance session! havent seen some pple for so long!
luckily the rain stopped at ard 10 plus at night, after the dance session. so we all got to see the fireball as well!! so glad for the junior councillors!! i rem how sad and disappointed we were when it rained as well during 01 2005. heh... yay

after tt joined the class pple. as the great grandseniors of S71, we witnessed the traditional watermelon eating ceremony. haha~~ however our presence was totally ignored by the juniors. haha.. all of us felt so sad! we decided tt our 'expiry date' was up. cos none of the 03s71 seniors turned up... so like maybe this yr should be the last yr we can go. haiz.

in the end the 'old folks' decided tt we should do wat old folks should do--head for a cuppa coffee and talk abt old times. haha! so we went off to starbucks.. in the end we din really tok abt the old times.. haha ger, me, jj, amanda and damian kept toking abt life in uni, while kiwi and anthon listened to our grumblings. haha wonder if they were bored.

one month of hols passed so quickly..today is already the start of the second semester! one month of sleeping at least 8 hours per day has made me super reluctant to wake up today morning. ahh din wanna leave my bed!! plus my body clock is already used to my sleeping at 3am in the morning so i has trouble sleeping early the night before.
anw, still feels kinda nice to be back in sch after one month. though the thought of facing CA2 and the final exam scares the hell outta me. haiz. i guess i shall just look forward the the chinese new year, as a lack of anything else to look forward to. arggh. went to sch rather determined change my slacking ways and have a bright start to the sem. unfortunately the first lecture, something on the overview of the renal system, totally bored me to tears. trust me, i could really just feel my enthusiasm sapping away by the second as the lecture progressed. hai.
bowwow and i went to check our results during the break. managed to pass both my physio and biochem! i was quite surprised to know tt i actually passed my physio. thought its a goner.. i had to resort to shading in all Bs as my answers for some questions during the last min of the exam cos i dilly dallied for too long trying to decide on which answer to shade. phew
but din manage to find out our anatomy results though, cos they took it down from the board. hai. we are super worried. hope both of us will pass. -fingers crossed-
anw, like most days, today ended quite early, at eleven thirty. bowwow and i took a cab down to cineleisure to watch our movie. (we have planned this since the hols) finally watched Death Note 2. heh. tink the movie was kinda disappointing leh..din seem as nice as the first movie. though i tink L is really v funny and cute!
after the movie we went to starbucks in an attempt to be the muggers we promised we will become. so we attempted to read our lecture notes. unfortunately, both of us became too distracted by this man at the table beside us speaking rather loudly in a hong kong accent. both of us couldnt stand it cos it reminded us too much of Hanry Yu. (a rather, er, interestin lecturer in nus) so we left after barely 15 minutes. i barely did anything constructive at all! heh..
nvm, i shall work hard tmr den. dere will always be tmr.

went to my anat group's chalet today. the guys wanted to go to wild wild wet but some of the girls, including me, din wanna get wet. so we split off into a 'wet' group and a 'dry' group. heh. the dry group consisted of all the girls plus Lui Lim. heh. poor him had to help us take photos throughout the whole trip. heh.. gal power!!
the whole of pasir ris park was so deserted.. prob becos school has started ba.. we went to the playground to play.. so fun!! suddenly rem all my past class outings in pasir ris... the place holds quite alot of memories as many of my sec or pri sch class outings were held there.. also rem the cycling outing with the bballers there years before.

finally, a 2A/3C class outing! kudos to yiwei for organising it! havent seen many of my sec sch classmates for so long.. and foony is back from hong kong! heh yy and i were late for the class outing cos we both overslept. ooops. so met up with the rest of them at the hong kong cafe at marina square late. we made everyone wait for us finish our lunch..hehe..
the turnout was rather good..think abt 20 over pple turned up.. so nice to see pple like hang ping, yiwei, eugene, sze han, boyang and yongtse, whom i havent seen for ages..
we went to walk ard aimlessly for some time, den decided to head to suntec's arcade to play. watch the guys play this shooting game. chok is damn zai! den we went to kopitiam to just chill and talk cock. haha yy kept the girls entertained by asking lotsa qian bian wen da ti. haha~ quite fun!!

i always wonder why sleepovers result in such serious degree of sleep deprivation for me. fell into a deep slumber right after i reached home in the morning after the stayover at damian's house, den slept some more in the afternoon, and i still feel sleep-deprived now. hais.
anw, this year's countdown is with my dearest 04s71!! met bow wow at bugis first to shop.. we went first to bugis street but couldnt stand the heat there. so we went off to city hall to shop in suntec instead. erps being the mei chu xi pple tt we are, we took the mrt down to city hall instead of walking. muahaha. we initially planned to watch Death note 2 but unfortunately there were no screenings of the show at Suntec.

so we continued shopping. both our legs were already close to breaking point. haha. den we decided to head to New York New york to join the dinner queue. by this time suntec was already rapidly filling with pple.. gosh. can imagine the number of pple at the marina bay countdown. the others soon joined us at new york new york. yay i love like the food dere! i had the roast chicken with penne alfredo, which was supposed to be super sinful. heh. we shared calamari and a choc fondue too!! yayz~~
at new york new york!!den we decided not to go to the marina bay countdown but instead head straight for damian's house. haha so we counted down to the new year at damian's! had alcohol as drinks, den we watched abit of "American Pie: the naked mile", played mahjong, charades and heart attack. the charades part was super funny. laughed till my scalene muscles felt like they were bursting. heh. its damn funny to see mao play charades. nearly split my sides from laughing.
den we played a super exciting game of heart attack. wa really adrenaline rush man. haha yisheng played till he was sweating. haha~~ so fun!!
we also celebrated mao's 20th birthday. first person from 71 to turn 20! ahh i dun wan my 20th birthday to come! feels so old!
happy birthday mao!!
hope 2007 will be a fun-filled year! and i must finally be determined to mug hard!!
