end of the last week of school before the mid sem break! one week of relaxation and fun to look forward to! yay~~ time to meet up with frens, shop, wake up late and to catch up on some work.
past week was fun. yummy and cheap lunch with yanling,jk,wuchiao and kailiang at the new suki sushi outlet at AMK. everything at half price!! immensely happy as we left the restaurant with full stomachs. =))
had tues off, so yuenmei and i mugged at national lib and lunched at miss clarity. bought ingredients to make choc truffles! i bought a new backpack at bugis street on impluse. i tink i wun use it. bleah..
lousy wed. went to sch specially for an one hr plus PBL. my total travelling time to and fro exceeded 3 hrs cos i missed 2 95 buses cos they were totally packed. went off to take 151 instead upon missing the 2nd 95. the stupid 151 was non air con as usual, which made my foul mood worse. sweated like hell.
thurs was an early day, so bowwow and i decided to make our choc truffles over at her house!! i had sudden carving for the XO fish head noodles again, so we went to eat at clementi central first before gg to her house. haha this time i had one whole bowl of the fish head noodles by myself!! super yummy! haha~~
choc truffles was considered a success! at first we were quite scared tt we will screw up. haha~ but everything went well. tink the hardest part was the waiting for the truffles to freeze part. the truffles were still super soft and liquid-like even after we put them in the freezer for almost an hour. we kept taking out the truffles to see if they were ready though. haha i even dozed off for awhile on bowwow's comfy bed while waiting. muahaha~~
all my truffles were melting by the time i reached home anw, since i unfortunately boarded a non-airconditioned 151 AGAIN. i reshaped and refroze everything and coated the truffles in milo powder again. so the truffles tasted even nicer than the original cos of the extra milo powder. hehe~~ my pig brother gobbled half of them up..
maf celebrations at grandma's tonight! every year my family will meet up to celb maf at grandma's. damn funny to see all my little cousins together. i see amanda and aloysius often but rarely see them both with jasper and zhiyu too! the 4 kids cant stop arguing/fighting over stuff; esp aloysius and zhiyu. haha~~ zhiyu has this immensely high-pitched scream.super scary. no wonder i felt abit short on hearing when i left grandma's.

just got back from hwa chong's maf celebrations. took the night rider from bugis cos i was feeling too broke to take a cab. its my first time taking the night rider. NR7's new route stops directly in front of my house, so that means i can save on cab fare when i hang out late!!
went to AMK Hub today with mum and bro. we were going to eat sushi at the newly opened suki sushi outlet at AMK cos they were having a super hua suan promotion. unfortunately after we went all the way there, we realised tt the queue was 2 hrs long. siaoz.. so we ended up eating at soup restaurant instead. had my favourite samsui chicken and we tried the new dish 东坡肉. super fattening. the bill came up to 50 plus bucks although we only ordered 3 dishes plus rice. super shocking. i hate 7% GST.
after eating mum and i shopped ard AMK hub and the NTUC hypermart there. i suddenly decided to buy ingredients for sushi so that i can make sushi for my family to try tmr. haha! i hope i didnt forget how to make the sushi that HC130 made the last time. yisheng izzit 4cups of rice to 4cups of water? or izzit 3? so we bought jap rice, vinegar, cucumber, unagi and crab sticks. hopefully it will turn out ok. i m quite scared.
took 74 from AMK to Hwa chong for MAF! 71 had a v low-key maf this year. cos the turnout was the lousiest among all these years. haha~ maf clashed with lileng's dance concert in NUS, so the guys and suan already bought tickets to support lileng's performance. so basically only gilyn, junjia, aman, ailin and me were there to represent 04S71. haha first time we lost out to 03 and 05s71 in terms of attendance.
we talked to Mr Wong for awhile before ailin, gily, junjia and i headed off to island creamery for ice-cream before the light up. i had my fav teh tarik flavoured ice cream! yay~~ we went to pee after we reached HC, so we missed the light up. haha! din see the fireball. but the lightings this year are really nice!!
we stoned at the class bench for some time. haha. we keep asking ourselves whether izzit very pathetic if we just sat at the class bench throughout for MAf. haha so in the end we decided to walk ard. realised MAF is really v special cos almost EVERYONE comes back. got to see alot of pple that i havent seen for some time.
i went to join the councillors for the song and dance session. haha song and dance with councillors is always damn high. realised councillors know how to '自high' quite well. =))
frantic rush to take photos with diff groups of pple, ECACO, council, anat group, sec sch classmates. by the time i went back to the class bench i was super thirsty and losing my voice from all the shouting over the phone and cheering. ailin and i managed to con a 34th councillor into selling us a can of drink and a cup of corn for 50cents. haha!
junjia drove us down to meet the guys for supper. turned out that only damian came to join us though. haha~ chatted over prata and teh peng. we had a good laugh at mr wong's sms. here's how it goes:

the idea of meetin with mr wong 'one-to-one' seriously scares me. i tink i prob need to bring along a dictionary. meeting up at marche sounds good though, though i wonder when we will ever get down to planning that meeting. heh~
funny though mr wong's sms may seem, i tink he simply phrased wat 71 pple really tink in more beautiful phrases and better vocab. i tink i agree mostly on the part on 'solidarity of spirit and sincerity of friendship'. so rock on, 04s71!! yay

trying in vain to chiong and finish watching the taiwanese serial' why why love' this weekend. i m only at the 10th episode! haha i cant wait to find out if jiadi (rainie yang) and huoda (he jun xiang) will end up together. the show is sooo sweet!!
part of the reason why i couldnt finish my show is tt i spent friday with yy, sat night singing ktv and today afternoon with hc130. i had to make hc130 meet later today cos i couldnt wake up from watching 'why why love' till 4am in the morning. haha!
anw, school ended early in friday and i was supposed to meet yy only at 3pm at bugis, so i went off to Han's cafe at the national library to mug while waiting for her. i was pretty productive for abt 1hr, den started to pple-watch. managed to read my MMR notes though! yay~
when yy came we went off for Seoul Garden lunch! haah i was treating her as birthday present=)) i tink the quality of food in seoul garden improved! and the service too. there was this guy who conscientiously cleared our plates continuously and super promptly. damn hardworking. hehee.
after lunch we went up to synovate to collect our pay for our watson's mystery shopping the last time. though the pay was lesser than wat i was expecting, at least it meant another 100 over bucks for me to spend! yay~~
shopped ard bugis for awhile after tt. yy needed to buy some stuff at bras brasah so we shopped ard there for awhile too. i realised i get bored quickly while shopping there. all the art stationary makes me sleepy. i m such an uncreative girl.
mum treated bro and me to lunch at Lerk Thai on sat. haha~ think she was in a good mood. i met qiuting, weiliang, jm and chok late for ktv at katong shopping centre cos i wanted to chiong 2 more episodes of 'why why love'. haha~~ ktv with the guys and qiuting was fun! i realised all my ex classmates can sing super well. i shall secretly practise in my bathroom.
met with Hc 130 today! we went to Food republic at Wisma for lunch. realised it is the first time hc130 ate lunch tog at a food court. usually we went to places like cafes or restaurants. we were pretty proud. haha we had fun trying to think of words which start with T. ger was distraught. =)) where's triangle?
we went shopping for awhile, den went down to Taka basement to try the samples at the mooncake fair there. ger and i was disgusted with a particular mooncake we tried which tasted like fish. terrible.
after mooncakes we decided tt we had cravings for mochi ice cream, cos it was a combination of 'bing pi' mooncake and ice cream mooncake. so we went to cold storage to buy a box of mochi ice cream to share. haha i love the peach flavoured one!!
den we went to breadtalk to chill. suan, ger and i were alr planning to draggin yisheng to go breadtalk cos we wanted to buy a cake for him as belated birthday present. haha! we tried to secretly buy a tiramisu cake but he found out. haha~
after yisheng blew out his candles we just chilled and talked over yuan yang and tiramisu cake. fun! we talked abt the pw days and how we always looked at the file and stoned together during pw class in school. we realised hc130 had been super slack. haha~~
shall go back to chionging my show!! gosh i hope i wun slp at 4 am again. 8 am lecture tmr!!!

went to clementi block 449 with yanling and bowwow during the 2 hr break before tutorial. we wanted to try the super nice Rojak there. ooh its really yummy!! bowwow and i also shared the XO fish head bee hoon. its like the nicest i have tasted so far. haha~ yanling recommended me this doctor's blog. the doctor goes ard eating good food all over singapore and his blog has the best recommendations! i shall try all the food on the blog! muahaha~~
after tutorial went to meet mum to go to John Little Sale at Expo. haha the sale was quite boring. but we had dinner at Macau Express which serves a v nice tofu dish!! like super yummy. its tofu topped with mayonaisse and pork floss. i wanna eat somemore!!
was trying to read my notes when my brother told me to go try this quiz online. its called the impossible quiz. now i m stuck on it. like for the past one hour. its the most mind-boggling quiz i ever tried. but the questions are really insanely clever. gosh. i wanna get past Q56. going mad.
anyone bored enough, pls come try too. i guarantee tt u will be pulling out all ur hair within 5 min. i almost dumped my laptop in frustration.

lectures all the way from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon today. super shag. bowwow and i gave the COFM lecture on bias a miss and went to the arts canteen for breakfast at burger king. =))
zao lect!!
went for 2A/3C chalet over the weekend. i rushed off from patho prac on friday without managing to identify anything from the slides using my microscope cos qiuting was waiting for me at NUH. haha~ we decided to go straight to the chalet. in the end we were the second and third earliest to reach the chalet. chok was there in the room all m=by himself for 2 hours! haha poor boy. meiwei came and the 4 of us had dinner at the cafe at downtown east.
we decided to play volleyball outside the chalet while waiting for the rest to come. we were soon joined by a pair of angmoh brothers and a group of indian kids. the angmoh brothers are soooo cute!! esp the younger one, who was only 3 years old. he kept picking ball for us. and his 7-yr-old brother is soo shuai!! haha meiwei, qiuting and i loved them.
suddenly the kids just took over our ball and played among themselves. the indian kids were rather rough and rowdy and the little 3 yr old and his brother were kinda being bullied. meiwei, qiuting and i kept trying to stand up for the angmohs. haha. we kinda became the referees. but we were really super biased. kept ruling in favour of the brothers. we kept saying tt we are super racist.
quite alot of pple turned up, and it was really nice to see everyone again. there were some pple whom i havent seen since we graduated from DHS! haha everyone hasnt changed much though.
rotted in the room, den we went to play arcade. haha i decided not to stay over tt night cos i din bring my contact lenses solution and glasses. suan's bf gave me a ride home! yay
met with yy the next day to go over to the chalet tog. poor yy has lessons on saturdays~ met maoxin on the way!
we bought kfc and had a mass picnic on the grass patch outside. haha~ the grass was prickly. after dinner jinfeng decided to treat everyone to Ben and Jerry's! haha we shared 3 banana splits and 2 mix-n-match among 14 pple. really generous of him, think he treated cos we kept jokingly saying tt he is super rich now since he is the safos scholar. haha!!

after we went back we played some drinking game--with tap water. we kept sabohing jinfeng. haha~ i drank till i felt like puking.
we just chilled and toked abit. den the guys suddenly started 'operation thunderstorm' and tried to 'kai' kaiwen. haha it was like the old days in DHS all over again. i can never understand where all the fun lies. haha~~
