04s71 has talked abt an overseas trip together for ages since we graduated.. and thanks to the initiative and hard work by khengwee, our trip to bintan finally materialised! only 7 pple though: lileng, suan, bowwow, me, ys, kiwi and anthon who joined us late. it was a 2day1night trip, starting on the 7th, which meant that bowwow and i had to miss the last day of school. haha we were saying that even if there was no bintan trip we would have ponned the last day of school anyway. oops.
met bowwow at pasir ris mrt at 6.45am. super duper early. my dad drove us to the tanah merah ferry terminal. haha~ yisheng,suan and lileng bought one big bag of food cos they knew that food in bintan is super ex.
yisheng bowwow and i played asshole daidee and indian poker on the ferry and got super high over nothing, esp during indian poker. haha~ soon we were in bintan!!
took a bus into the bintan lagoon resorts. the weather was surprisingly good and pretty sunny. but too bad the sea sports were all closed as it was the monsoon season. after dropping off our stuff and changing we rushed off and embraced the ocean!! haha!! the ocean was pretty nice with big crashing waves~~
we got challenged to a game of beach volleyball by the lifeguards on the beach. haha losers had to treat the winners to coke. we stupidly agreed before knowing that each can of coke there costs a whole S$5!!! haha although they openly 'gave chance' we still lost in the end (although we played v well by our own standards). heh! so in the end we treated the lifeguards to a round of coke while complaining that we were cheated. haha~~
spent the rest of the morning photo-whoring and playing in the sea.
ate instant noodles and sandwiches in the room as lunch. haha! we were feeling a tad bit sad for ourselves but looked forward to our buffet dinner!!
in the afternoon we nua-ed around for awhile before renting bikes and cycling. haha the bikes there were super laoyapok. the gears were mostly not working. and the area ard our resort was really not suitable for cycling as there were alot of steep slopes and we kept struggling to get up the slopes. we saw a korean girl fall from her bike on one of the slopes. she ended up with rather bad cuts....
anthon joined us in the evening and we went off for our buffet dinner!! the buffet was pretty lousy considering the price we paid. haha~~ den we went to the bar at the lobby for drinks! it was anthon's treat!! =))
we were all super tired at night. bowwow and i fell asleep while watching survivor. haha~ the next morning we were the latest cos we refused to wake up even after kiwi's morning call. buffet breakfast, den off to the beach! but it started to rain so we ran back to the rooms for shelter. by the time we reached our rooms we were all drenched though so we ended up dancin and singing in the rain. haha!! it was super fun. really zi high.
instant noodle lunch again, den we checked out of our rooms and nua-ed at the leisure centre in the resort. mahjong + i played abit of some random game on anthon's psp. i want psp!
dinner+uno while waiting+ indian poker on the way back. heh=)
ahh i am sunburnt!
