end of the last week of school before the mid sem break! one week of relaxation and fun to look forward to! yay~~ time to meet up with frens, shop, wake up late and to catch up on some work.
past week was fun. yummy and cheap lunch with yanling,jk,wuchiao and kailiang at the new suki sushi outlet at AMK. everything at half price!! immensely happy as we left the restaurant with full stomachs. =))
had tues off, so yuenmei and i mugged at national lib and lunched at miss clarity. bought ingredients to make choc truffles! i bought a new backpack at bugis street on impluse. i tink i wun use it. bleah..
lousy wed. went to sch specially for an one hr plus PBL. my total travelling time to and fro exceeded 3 hrs cos i missed 2 95 buses cos they were totally packed. went off to take 151 instead upon missing the 2nd 95. the stupid 151 was non air con as usual, which made my foul mood worse. sweated like hell.
thurs was an early day, so bowwow and i decided to make our choc truffles over at her house!! i had sudden carving for the XO fish head noodles again, so we went to eat at clementi central first before gg to her house. haha this time i had one whole bowl of the fish head noodles by myself!! super yummy! haha~~
choc truffles was considered a success! at first we were quite scared tt we will screw up. haha~ but everything went well. tink the hardest part was the waiting for the truffles to freeze part. the truffles were still super soft and liquid-like even after we put them in the freezer for almost an hour. we kept taking out the truffles to see if they were ready though. haha i even dozed off for awhile on bowwow's comfy bed while waiting. muahaha~~
all my truffles were melting by the time i reached home anw, since i unfortunately boarded a non-airconditioned 151 AGAIN. i reshaped and refroze everything and coated the truffles in milo powder again. so the truffles tasted even nicer than the original cos of the extra milo powder. hehe~~ my pig brother gobbled half of them up..
maf celebrations at grandma's tonight! every year my family will meet up to celb maf at grandma's. damn funny to see all my little cousins together. i see amanda and aloysius often but rarely see them both with jasper and zhiyu too! the 4 kids cant stop arguing/fighting over stuff; esp aloysius and zhiyu. haha~~ zhiyu has this immensely high-pitched scream.super scary. no wonder i felt abit short on hearing when i left grandma's.
