just back from stayover. been quite long since i last spent so much time with yy. rem how the 2 of us used to be almost inseperable in secondary school. =))
wed, met her to go to this orientation thingy tt the company synovate was holding. synovate is this research company which does market research for various companies all over the world. yy had a job there last yr, so we decided to go there to get a job to earn some extra bucks. haha i needed to earn some money to offset the sum of money i m going to spend in japan. =(( anw, the orientation was quite fun. haha~ the company actually does things like 'mystery shopper', on top of the usual survey stuff. i wanna be a mystery shopper! so fun. must act like a normal customer when u are actually evaluating the attitudes of the staff and other things liddat! muahaha~
was supposed to meet junjia and bowwow after the orientation thingy but both of them couldnt make it last min, so yy and i decided to head off to geylang to eat durians! haha~ so shiok! we ordered 3 durians~ got D24 ones. heh and shared a coconut~
the next day we met up to go to guess where-- singapore sciece centre! haha i havent been there since i was in pri sch. and everything there seemed to be so diff. i wonder if they changed alot of stuff or my memory is just failing me.
many of the exhibits there are so fascinating! haha~ i loved the i-space section the most. its an exhibit showing possible way of living in the year of 2031. super cool. there's this computer tt u can control by waving ur arms. its exactly like Tom Cruise in ' mission impossible'. haha! den the toilets in 2031 supposedly will become super smart. the toilet bowl will analyse ur shit and tell u whether anything is wrong with ur health. muahaha~ in 2031 doctors will be out of jobs! all replaced by toilet bowls.
yy and i had fun playing with the electrical drawing board there. super fun and super high tech.

we went to almost all the exhibits in the science centre. went to the ecogarden and climbed up to the treehouse. still got nano technology, chemistry, the human body, robotics and many others!

den we went to the cafe at the omnitheatre for dinner. the nasi lemak is yummy! caught the 7pm showing of 'the first emperor of china' at the omnitheatre. haha the show was pretty boring. abt qin shi huang. watching movie at omnitheatre makes my neck ache. haha and somehow its less impressive to me now. i rem i was super fascinated when i first stepped into the omnitheatre as a 8 year old.
den went to yy's hall in NTU! we watched half of 'casino royale' in her room before going down to this coffee shop for supper=)) hahaa. i had meatball porridge while yy ate the yummy ba chor mee there!
we finished watching casino royale before tuening in. chit-chatted in the dark before both of us KO-ed at abt 3 plus in the morning. haha~~
