blogging now while waiting for my hair to dry. just came back from watching the FA cup final between Chelsea and Man U at the Kopitiam near my house. haha! was having dinner with my mum and bro there and decided the time was just right for me to stay on and catch the match. must say its a pretty fun experience, sitting with the uncles, some families and kids and going 'oohing and aahing' whenever anyone got close to scoring. haha! Chelsea eventually won 1-0 in extra time.. nothing to do with me actually, i m a total neutral for this match. just hope tt my liverpool wins the Champions league!
anw, today was zoo day. 71 had talked abt going to the zoo together for ages. so today was supposed to be the long awaited zoo day. however, got the feeling tt everyone will just pangseh. cos till late last night there was still like no real confirmation. haha~ i woke up at 8am this morning, thought abt the long journey to AMK mrt where we were meeting, and felt super tempted to just pangseh too. haha guilt prompted me to wake up.
i was surprised to be one of the earliest to reach! haha after yisheng and gilyn. we were even earlier den kheng wee! yay~~ first time leh. anw the 3 of us waited for anthon and khengwee, den took the 138 bus down to mandai zoo to meet damian.
havent been to the zoo for ages! cant even rem when was the last time i was there. haha~ all of us were quite excited.

din buy tickets with tram rides so tt we would walk the whole time. haha this is to ensure tt we burn enough fats for Ben and Jerry's ice cream at the end of the day! haha but it was really v tiring. i kept struggling. gilyn kept laffing at me though she was struggling too.
we kept making hilarious comments abt everything and doing childish things. this seems to be the norm everytime i m with 71 pple. heh but its really fun~ when gilyn started singing: 'if you are happy and you know it wag your tail' , shinwei & damian: 'wag wag'. totally spontaneously and without thinking. erpps. we were embarrassed.
other funny things of the day include trying to list examples of animals with 'hao ren lian (good pple face)' and 'huai ren lian (bad pple face)'; taking photo of some worker in the orang utan enclosure and commenting tt the species is called 'un-naked orang utan'; getting all excited over the sheep's overly-enlarged, erms, scrotum; and yisheng commenting tt the goat shitting looked like coffee beans. there was this caucasian couple near us laffing at his comment. haha~

we realised tt all of us are really good students. hc-produced muggers. haha. cos when we saw the giraffes anthon commented tt he is reminded of the Darwin's theory in the bio notes. den when we were looking at the pond skaters we all were reminded of pri sch science. hahahaa~
we ended our trip with the highlight of the day: BEn and jerry's! we shared 6 flavours. =)) happy happy. tink its a special 71 outing. which other class goes to the zoo as class outing? haha we are zai.
