maris is back!! haha~ it seems tt dhs bball team will only meet up whenever maris comes back. haha this time, she is back from australia, so we met up the day after xmas!
yy and i were the earliest from our team to arrive.. even though we were already half an hour late. haha for our team, it really doesnt matter wat time the meeting time is, it is purely for reference sake. haha~~ like this time, we were supposed to meet at 7pm, but the latest person to arrive(no prizes for guessing who) came at about 9.45 pm. haha.
anw, the 'early birds', consisting of me, yy, maris, chin ee, and jialing went off to cafe cartel @marina square first. peng yu, pk, yingru, yueshan and jinyuan den joined us. so nice to see everyone again! we were looking through the photos of the team together when we were still in sec 4. haha everyone has aged!! hahaha~ we were commenting on how innocent jy looked den. heh.. den yueshan and jy began to tell some leng xiao hua. haha i love yueshan's joke on the gang dang (potato)! super duper funny!!
dhs bball unite!den we decided to go to geylang to eat durians!! hahah~~we had always passed by the durian shops in geylang during our dunman days.. many times we had said tt we should go dere for durians but it had never materialized. funny tt years down the road we finally got down to doing it. haha.. so we split into 2 cars, pengyu's and jy's. haha it was quite exciting to be in jy's car. she almost knocked down pengyu when he was trying to direct her while she was reversing into the parking slot. super scary girl. haha
it was my first time eating durians in a durian shop. haha v fun! we had to open the durians ourselves. yueshan almost killed me while she was trying to split open the durian! the durian shell was like flying towards me la!! hehe
after tt me, yy, yingru, yueshan and maris cabbed down to NTU. we were going to stay overnight at yy's room and play mahjong! haha we played till early morning! den maris and yingru left early in the morning cos yingru had school and maris needed to catch her flight. byebye maris!!! hope she comes back next yr leh.. if not the team prob wun meet up until god knows when. haha~
later in the morning, tagged along with yy to her hall's bball match. saw quite a few ex-hwa chong bballers, including cheryl poon. wa she still as zai as ever! hah after tt played friendly matches with yy's teammates and hall pple. v fun! soo long since i last played properly! must say i miss playing competitively alot..
slept like a log on the way back. i got butt cramps from sitting for too long on the mrt. boon lay to pasir ris leh. dun play play.
