08/08, NUS flag day. it was the last day of my hall orientation.. we had to wake up at 4.30 am in the morning becos sheares wanted us to catch the morning rush hr crowd. super tired when i woke up tt morning. been sleeping for an average of 3 hrs for consecutive days.
my group and i went off to harbourfront mrt first. the morning rush hr crowd was quite nice and generous.. haha we filled our tins quickly. den we got chased away by the security guard and we moved on to chinatown. all the faculties and halls of NUS were doing flag day together on the same day.. think pple out on the streets tt day are so annoyed at us. haha!
things got tiring and boring after a while so me, joey, ling xiao and kenneth found our own entertainment..haha~~
the 4 of us decided to go as a grp in the end. walked from chinatown to the esplanade.

haha.. we sat down to watch a band's performance dere and i could barely keep my eyes open.
den i got a phone call from NUS--asking me if i wanted to accept a place in medicine!! gosh i was super shocked den. i mean, it was like, 6 days from the start of sch?
immediately called my mum and dad and they encouraged me to go for it if i wanted to. within 5 min i called NUS back and accepted the offer. guess its really madness to be changing course so last min... but medicine has always been my first choice and i wasnt gonna let this chance slip away. =))
luckily i managed to sell all my law books to shirin! haha~ gosh i need to change my state of mind quickly. all this while i have been preparing myself to go into my law and econs course. although i was determined to do well dere i noe tt that isnt wat i really wan. sooo happy tt i finally have a chance to do sth i wan!!
