had a bbq nite and stayover at ailin's over the weekend. haha the bbq was quite pathetic cos we initially had some trouble starting the fire and, after starting the fire, we could not produce any chicken wings which did not end up the colour of charcoal. haha~~ but the marshmallows were great! fun to just chit chat while bbqing marshmallows. ailin's enlarged marshmallow was really hilarious. too bad din get a photo of it. cracked everyone up like crazy.
after the bbq we had some not-so-sweet jelly as desserts. den played board games e.g monopoly and cluedo while waiting for the germany-portugal match to start. quite a good turn out for this stayover, pple who went were me, ger ,suan,huilin, lileng, amanda, cheryl, hanjie, yisheng, anthon, damian, khengwee and of cos ailin.
the germany-portugal match was really exciting, esp the second half. quite disappointed tt germany was not leading at half time. made me lose money. thot my 5 dollar wager with singapore pools on a 3-1 scoreline was going down into the drain when suddenly, wham, germany got a goal. the next thing i know, i was looking at a 3-0 scoreline. haha~ suddenly found myself rooting for portugal, thought i cant stand C.Ronaldo. haha figo's cross was masterclass. a 3-1 scoreline in the end left me with a fatter wallet for the weekend. yayz. haha none of the 71 pple could stand c.ronaldo. arrogant and dirty player, tts wat i tink.
tuesday, went for sentosa outing with og 6. og 6 is almost as bad as 71, in terms of latecomers. haha~ beach volleyball was a failed attempt as we played 'ultimate frisbee with a volleyball'. quite fun la. den played some more beach volley. after tt we went to holland v for lunch. quite funny this girl at the table beside us was passing some comment abt law students just as we were taking our seats. so happened tt lynette, who was wearing the law camp t-shirt, was seating with her back facing her. haha~tink the girl realised tt and kinda shut up.
we played games like 'stock exchange' and indian poker, den kelvin drove us to bukit timah plaza to play pool. limin met us dere to join us cos me and michelle were actually going to meet up with her for dinner. so impressed with the pool masters kelvin and moses! haha my pool skills suck like hell. v sad how i nv managed to play any game which involves the use of sticks or rackets well. hai.
