weird way to meet up i wuld say, but fa lun gong decided to have a meet-up-cum-cip day at sentosa on 11/6/06. haha.. the cip was an event organised by the marine parade GRC, sth like a family day at sentosa for the low income families.
so we brought the low income families ard sentosa on an "amazing race". haha the kids are soo cute and enthu! not a bad experience for me too, i realised tt my trips to sentosa were always confined to siloso beach. havent went to places like the orchid garden and buttefly park etc for ages.
we were laughing at the 'auntie' peijia, as she exclaimed tt we 'zhuan dao' by becoming for this cip (each volunteer got a $5 starbucks voucher, plus lunch, entry tix and transport to sentosa were provided) hahahaa..damn funny

chok had to leave early as he jia ren you yue, so qiuting, peijia, joonming and i decided to stay on in sentosa to play.
we decided to set off from palawan beach for siloso beach, and somehow i was the one to lead the way. as expected, i led the 3 of them in the totally wrong direction and we ended up on some ulu beach. haha~~we had fun during the walk though, ColdStorage was having a carnival on the beach and they were giving away free ice creams.. so for part of our trip we were eating ice cream while walking in the rain. quite an experience.
as the rain got heavier on our way to silosa beach we decided to use our umbrellas. haha.. we looked really out of place on the beach with our umbrellas, as barechested hunks and bikini-clad babes continued with their volleyball games even as the rain poured down. haha.. totally uncool and diu lian.

haha sentosa trip with fa lun gong is so totally diff from the usual 04s71 sentosa outings.
by the time we reached sunset bay it was really close to sunset. we kayaked for awhile, then played volleyball. lotsa babes and hunks to look at that day. fun. =))
shall go off to place some bets on tonight's world cup games! stupid england drew with sweden today morning. arggh.. make me lose money

on tues this week, qiuting and i saw for ourselves how childish and stupid working adults can be, and the back-stabbing aspect of the corporate world. it started off as sth incredibly minor. my office needed some boxes to pack in some of our old files and documents, and there were no more boxes in the office. so qiuting and i, being the resourceful girls that we are, went to the CIAS flight catering kitchen to seek for boxes..
before taking the boxes we sought permission from the staff dere, and they told us tt the boxes were not needed and we could take them. one even handed us the box! the supervisor next to them jokingly said tt we cant take the boxes cos he wants to sell them. unknown to us, the next morning, we were informed tt the CIAS side has posted an official complaint over this matter, saying tt we took the boes without anyone's permission. gosh. this is the first time i saw for myself how free and wu liao pple can get. wonder if they get any kick out of trying to backstab a couple of young temp staff.
thursday, took half day leave. went to collect my A level cert from school before meeting up with fangyi to go for the law tea session at nus. the tea session was kinda a trauma for me. i realised the only pple i noe there are fangyi and zhiwen. and the econs prof whom i spoke to is really weird. and i foresee myself being an outsider in lawsch. i am too used to the "why u liddat", "huh,y", "yes/no" 04s71 english. haha
fangyi and i left early to meet limin for dinner. went to crystal jade's la mian xiao long bao. i couldnt help whining abt going into econs and law. at that pt in time, i really felt like accepting smu instead. went to shop at far east.. bought a belt! =))
i was really depressed the whole way home. but after a shower at home and talking over the matter to my parents i felt better. i realised its pretty stupid of me to think of dropping a course just becos i am afraid of having no frens. haha~ regradless of wat, i have made my decision now and i promised myself tt i m not going to have any regrets. yupp.
going to meet limin for shopping at bugis. GSS rox! haha~
